Who knows something about planer boards?

I find trolling to be the opposite of boring. sitting in one spot jigging a line will make me go nuts in no time. I love to rig the lines and just cruise around the lake. I've run up to 3 boards and 2 down rods per side, although usually it's just 2 and 1. when the fish are biting it's amazingly fun. My kids LOVE to fish because we use boards and troll. I rarely pull a fish in, they always do. it has to be a triple or quadruple hookup before I grab a rod, and I am perfectly fine with that. my 6 year old daughter has taught 60 year old men how to use planer boards, explain how they work, how to set line counters, the whole shebang. it's impressive to see, even more so when she starts talking fishing with adults. they are blown away at how much she knows about walleyes. my 11yo son is the same way and he fishes tournaments with me.

I've been doing a bit of both. At this very moment, I am moving some rod holders around so that I can use the Track that came on my 2007 Lowe tinny.
