Hey guys, just laying out my electric plan. I'm not an electrician so I wanted to run it by you guys. I'm good in regards to wire guage but my main concern is the connection of the 2 bank charger. Also, do I need to disconnect the electronics while I charge?

With the batteries connected that way in the diagram, the charger will charge both batteries with just one battery connected to one bank on the charger. To charge each battery independently, you will have to have a disconnect between the two.
It will not hurt the electronics to have them connected. They will be switched off anyhow. If you accidentally turned them on while charging it still should not hurt them. The charger should only be putting out 13-15 volts. That will not hurt your electronics.

hook the 2 bank to both batteries. You don't have to unhook it, both batteries will get the same charge and keep the same float charge whether they are connected to each other or not. I did mine this way for months and it works better as long as both batteries are hooked to the charger.

Your electronics will be ok still hooked up to the batteries - I still run my radio while it's connected to the chargers.

Everything will be fine the way you have them hooked up in your diagram

Thanks guys. This site is awesome and I would be struggling through most of this with out all of you. =D>

Can't wait to get out on the water. With any luck and a full day of work on Saturday, I should be ready to go.
