What do you guys who have tiller controlled motors use to hook up the nav lights or fish finder to the battery. I've seen some friends boats where they leave the wiring just laying there til they need it then hook it up to the battery but I am looking for something more cosmetically appealing. If your boat does not have a steering console what do you guys do with the wiring or for switches and such. Thanks

Run it through a piece of pvc that has been snaked down the inside of the rub rail and underneath the ribs.

Thats definetly my plan I am gonna run it under the floor but what I am asking is what do you use to hook it up to the battery? Do you guys run the PVC to the back of the boat with the wires hanging out and label them or does anyone have pics of custom control panels or something they made to house the wires and switches if you use them? I'm trying to come up with ideas so that I can kinda make my own little console box and have all the wires run to that with switches. Thanks for the help

This is what I did. My battery is in back so I have nav lights and TM wiring going to the front through a PVC pipe in the rub rail (the heavy TM wires take up all the room in the rub rail PVC so the nav light wires go under the floor). I made the little console of aluminum sheeting and some pvc sheeting for the end. It works fine except that is no off switch like if there was an ignition key. I need to do something about this as my power is always on. Once I accidentally flipped the toggle for the nav lights and they drained my battery. Otherwise it works well.
