does anyone have any thoughts on adding a rectifier to a 2011 yamaha 15 to charge batteries.is it a difficult install? is it worth doing to charge 2 deep cycles? i normally charge at home, but i'm thinking about my month long summer trips.i need input.thanks

you would only probally get around 5 amps at WOT(estimate). you would have to do a lot of cruising to charge up 2 deep cycles. there is a product at BPS that you wire to your rectifier that boosts your output to 20 amps and i beleive its around 60 bucks. if i were you id buy it if you decide to add a rectifier.

thanks for the info. i do a lot of trolling, and if i run the motor as much as the electric,i should be able to keep the batts. going untill the end of the trip.
