I used 2 pieces of 3/4" a grade plywood and glued then together with 3m 3500. The transom was probably the most painful thing. I'm pretty sure it was never meant to be replaced.

Well, it's pretty much done. Fun build but extremely hard work! Here are a few photos. I hope my build gave someone a few ideas as so many builds influenced my build.

I'm trying to find a good way of fastening my plywood to aluminum angle. I've drilled pilot holes and some screws grab, some break and some don't even catch. Does anyone have ideas to help???? Thanks!

I was really wanting the cost down. I've spent a little too much on my build (hard to believe, right?). So I wanted to keep it affordable. I found the minnkota portable 10amp charger on Amazon for $78. Is this something you guys would recommend for the price compared to a noco or other brand?

Hey everyone. My vinyl/carpet adhesive says not to use it on painted or urethaned panels. I wanted to urethane to protect the wood but wanted to see if anyone else put adhesive over it and how it worked?

Well I've been framing this last week. One of the more difficult parts of the build so far. I compare it to doing a puzzle, but you have to make all of your own pieces. Almost done!
