    Vintage Johnson Metal Gas Tank

I have a similar tank and experienced leakage issues. I replaced the O rings for it and that solved it for me. Its worked well for me for 3 years now.

Has Anybody Ever Used This as a Boat Flooring Alternative?

I bought a slightly different style for my boat. I got the rubber matts with quarter size holes in it so that the water would drain better, and it was lighter. I really liked it this year and it has held up. The way I secured mine was using a couple zip ties looped from a hole in the mat, and...

Hey, need some help with what my boat is worth.

From what I've seen in central/eastern PA, I'd say you should be able to get $4000 for it. That being said, I don't think trying to sell it in winter is a good timing. I too am in college and have decided to hold off selling my tin until after the spring semester.

    Rubber mat in between ribs

I thought about putting in the horse stall mats, but they were very heavy. I opted to the mats with the quarter sized holes in it. I just got mine off amazon and it was fairly cheap, and was lighter than the horse stall mats. I also was afraid of water sticking underneath the mats and not...

    What's it worth? > 16' Alumaweld w/40HP Yamaha

That's basically what I plan on buying in the spring and I have figured between 2000 and 3500. I would say that is a pretty good deal considering the trolling motor and the outboard has tilt trim which can cost a pretty penny. In addition, the trailer looks like a good trailer and the decking...

Post a Pic of your boat!

This is my 1432 jon I bought 2 years ago, my first boat. I put a bow mount trolling motor on it that I really like and also put in the floor mats. I also have a 1950's evinrude I run on the back or a 55 lb thrust trolling motor. I've learned a lot while owning this boat. Looking to sell it this...

    Thoughts on this boat

Might be taking a look at this boat over the weekend. I've been a flat bottom guy, but would be interested in how v bottoms like this perform. He says the motor runs, I'll be the judge of that, and has it at 1500.

    1990 tx-17 question, please help

If everyone was selling boats in that shape for 1,500 I certainly would not still be in my 1432 Jon. I agree that 3 grand is about right.

    Possible buy

I want to upgrade from my 1432 Jon and found this deal. The guy is moving so he needs rid of it. I figure I could get it for atleast 1400, likely less. The motor is an evinrude 48hp, boat is a tracker 16'. He says motor runs, I'll have to check that though. Any thoughts on age or comments?

    1542 Grumman Challenger Project

You've got a great slate to work with. I'd think about what kind of storage you want out of this, and lay it out before you start the cutting. If anything in the boat looks not up to par replace it while you're working on it now. Rather spend a little bit more now than it fail when your using it...

Looks like a Good Project-What do you think?

This boat is still out there... It gets me every time I browse craigslist. It really looks like it's begging for attention. Did you happen to see it in person?

Looks like a Good Project-What do you think?

Saw the same boat and liked it's potential. If spring wasn't around the corner I probably would have picked it up and sold my current one. Looks like a nice wide boat.

New to site! Just picked up a new project!

Sweet boat, that's probably what I'll upgrade to before too long. Looks like it's got some good potential.
