I was wondering how easy or difficult is is to find parts for this. Guy says it ran fine when he took it out but the wiring will need to be redone. So it will have to go to the shop. What do you guys think? This will be for a 14 ' alum v hull . Thanks for any help
Ya I find out that the boat was not sold to me by the original owner, but its very likely the original owner is a very old man . I will make some phone calls tomorrow to see if I can track him down. Something tells me though that this man might be long gone , like in deceased.

I have a semi v 14' alumn. boat. The tag says to not exceed 30HP. Will a 10HP do me good? I am thinking a 10HP will be easier on the wallet and will also be easier on the back when I have to load and unload the motor by myself. But will it push the boat fast enough? I dont know I have never had...
I got a hold of a old alum. boat. Seems to be a Lone Star semi v alum boat. Its all RIVETED together , no welds. What kind of sealer can I use to make the seams water tight? They dont leak now but dont want any problems for a while.
I agree but fishing in PA its a little different than fishing in TX. Fishing for CATFISH in TX lakes this is kinda normal. Thats why the TX laws have a limit of 25 per person , you could see 75 fish in one day.
