Does anyone know what kind of paint Lund uses for the inside of their hulls in their newer models? I'd like to try to emulate this finish in my old Grumman. In person it has a gritty kind of texture and seems very rugged. I like the flat finish inside. Would it work if I just roll on a flat finish paint with a long nap roller to get a bit of texture? I'm not real concerned with the black speck but this finish has always seemed very durable.

Some automotive "spatter paint" or trunk paint may give you a reasonable facsimile of that finish.

Zolatone makes that trunk spatter paint in a lot of colors. I used it many years ago on the inside of an old Glaspar. It hides a lot of sins.

My boat also has that spatter finish on the inside. Manufacturer says they just flicked some different color paints off the tip of a brush.
