    Lowrance Hook2 7

Sounds like a question for Lowrance. I have the first hook 7 and it was mounted on the side of a 16 foot Tracker tiller and it caught a lot of spray. Now it freezes from time to time but I’m not sure its the water’s fault or not. My electrical is perfectly good so I know thats out of the...

    Chirp or down image??

Nice move. I have been looking at those units for about a month now. The only thing holding me back is the fact I’m scared to death of the huge transducer. Just thinking about all the ways I could damage it makes my skin itch. Right around the pocket with the Wallet area for some reason. The...

    I said I wouldn't. Then I Did.

Awesome boat. I was thinking of financing a Gregor 18 Seahawk this year but ended up trading some alcohol for a 1988 17.3 foot Lund Rebel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    THE BIGGEST TIN RUNABOUT

I really suggest going with an OB model. It really gives the boat a roomy feeling. I almost had one for $700 that I almost took but the guy was super sketchy and had zero paperwork on anything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Recoil starter question.

I’d go with the 15 recoil. I have zero experience with engines below 1970 but I usually find that engines within 10 hp from the same manufactures share a majority of parts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Tohatsu or Yamaha

Because of the 5 year woranty on the Tohatsu, the extra 5 hp, and a better power to weight ratio along with more displacement i suggest Tohatsu. I was just with a guy on Monday that has that exact engine with controls and it is silent as wind. Sent from some body of water

    Duckworth and other welded boats

Those boats are built like tanks from what i can tell. Im over here in the San Francisco bay and the waters can get brutal real fast. I personally know some people that have either a Hewes and duckworth and they have put them in some questionable conditions and they perform beautifully. From...

    ETec 40 controls

Hi guys. I just unlocked my account again. School has been loading me up. Anyways... I have a 2015 etec 40 hp tiller fully loaded. I want to transfer it to another tin can. Is there a way to buy a kit on the interweb and do it yourself to save a little cash? Sent from some body of water
