    Bleumunkie's Tracker 1436

So I've been fishing when I can, and working the rest of the time. So it hasn't been going very quickly. BUT I was very inspired by another mod on here (that is escaping me tonight) with the LED lights. So I HAD to do it myself. I got the basic LED's at https://www.oznium.com. my boat is a...

    Carpet Gap

I think that would all depends in the thickness of your carpet and how "snug" a fit your looking for. If you have some scrap I would suggest measuring the thickness of your carpet and go from there. Make some tests and figure it out before going at your finished work. I would take two...

Anybody use a tiller extension on your outboards?

I've thought the same thing and from what I can find its fine unless it kinks. I believe I have previously read someone who ran a broom handle through the middle to avoid that scenario

Under 8 months to FULL retirement. At least, that's the plan

Looking forward to pics. I have about 30 years give or take until retirement. I'll have to squeeze it in between work and sleep.

    completed jack plate

That's awesome. Did you have to do anything to the transom to support the increased torque from the engine weight being up higher?

    Blue foam board or pink?

I used the blue Lowe's branded board. Haven't been on the water yet, but it is perfect for what I needed.

    Flooring question

My plan is just about the same, except I'm lining between the ribs with foam board. Gives a bit more support, and sound deadening. (I don't want the board slapping against the ribs as I walk)
