    MTN DEW promo codes

I was going to quit drinking this stuff this summer. 5 days later, they come out with an outdoor gear promo. If anyone drinks this stuff, but won't be drinking enough to get anything/doesn't want a camo mtn dew hat as bad as I do, I'd sure appreciate the codes! After the hat, I'm hoping to get...

I thought this was pretty cool

I know poorman's powerpoles have been discussed before, but I've never seen this brand. Seem to be pretty high quality, and I'd imagine the fiberglass pole would keep it light weight. Seems like you need to remove the pole and stow it though. I'd like to see something that would allow it to be...

    Coyote Trapping

I've never been into trapping.. too much of a dog lover. However, things have gotten out of hand on my buddy's property. We spent the weekend up there and heard howling and yipping every night. Walked the property (heavily wooded 40 acres) and had tracks everywhere. We're looking to do some...

    GPS tips/tricks

After quite a bit of research, I ordered the Delorme PN60 today. I'll be using it for hunting public ground and marking fishing spots. I'm going to consider Navionics etc. once I get a feel for the screen size. If it seems like it'll be too small to be worth dropping 100 bucks, it'll make the...

    Recurve

I've been looking to get into traditional archery for quite some time, so I figured I'd check here and see if anyone had a used recurve for a decent price. Looking for a 45 or 50 pounder, around 60".

    Number Two

Here's doe number 2 for the year. This time on state land. Should be number three, but I lost one last Wednesday in the downpour. Made a good shot at 22 yards, arrow was covered, but not a speck to be found on the ground. Stomped around a swamp for a couple hours and never found her. Two days...

    Recurve/traditional archery equipment

Wanted to check and see if anyone here has a recurve they'd like to sell. I'm looking to get into traditional hunting (by next season) and I'd prefer to start out with a less expensive used bow. RH, preferably 45 pounds but would also be interested in +-5 pounds. Might take other trad archery...

    Homemade deer feeders

Anyone make any? MI just started allowing baiting again, so I'm trying to figure out a way to make a feeder so that I can keep the legal 2 gallons on the ground at one time, but not have to screw up my stands by coming in there and dumping it every day. I'd prefer some sort of design that will...

    trim goes up, not down

My outboard has been getting a little finicky, and sometimes it doesn't want to trim down. On occasion, going up first will allow it to go down, other times you just sit there and wait until it wants to stop pissing you off. It isn't the switch or solenoid, basically leaving the pump (and boy...

    Meijer Brand Batteries

Thought I'd pass my opinion along. My starting battery finally took a crap, so I traded it in for a meijer's brand marine dual purpose. They are 70 bucks normally (I believe), but they were onsale for 66. This price is for a size 24 or 27. I got the 27, installed it, and charged it last night...

    70 HP Force

So I've been looking for a bigger outboard in the 65 to 75 HP range, and this 70 HP Force popped up locally. I called the guy and he said its a 1997, which from what I can find, isn't possible. Seems 95 was the last time a 70 HP was made. So strike one, the guy doesn't know what he's talking...

What sun screen do you use?

I got a friendly reminder of my lack of pigment today, and I've been meaning to ask what you guys use for sun screen. I've found that most brands discolor my clothes, especially if mixed with sweat. The only brand I've been happy with is bull frog, which is hard to find. Plus its REALLY greasy...

    Humminbird RAM mount

Anyone have one, or know where to find one cheap? Lowest price I've found is around 30 bucks shipped, which in a good deal, but still too much money for what it is

    First bass of 2011

Finally starting to heat up. Water temps just hit 44 here in MI, and the females are starting to move up. First bass of the year was a 3+ pounder. Gonna be a good year

    Gas line

I need to replace my gasline and bulb, but bass pro wants like 40 bucks for the set up. I essentially only need 1.5 feet max, and I'll buy a bulb elsewhere. Definitely not worth 40 bucks. Anyone have any extra laying around, or know where I can find it cheap? Thanks

    40 HP prop pitch

Well I took the boat for a spin the other day (17 foot Tracker, 40HP Force (2 stroke, 2 cylinder), and something seems off. If the tach is correct, which I'm not sure it is, I'm going to blow this motor. It was reading over 7000 rpm (5200 is normal) at WOT. Anyone know what the idling RPMs...

    Shock/piston for hatches

I'm trying to track down some short, CHEAP shocks/pistons for my rod locker. The door wants to shut on its own, and I know its going to cost me a rod this summer. Anyone have any leads? The only cheap ones I can find seem to be really long because they're for the back window of a car or something.

    Shout out to Vinyl Images

The weather finally broke, and it was warm enough to apply the boat name I got from member bulldog of Vinyl Images. I won a contest a while back for the best boat name, and I got three of these decals, 2 this size and one really big one at no cost. Right now I have some fishfinder wires and...

    New Tracker

Here's my new (to me) Tracker. It's a 1995 TX-17 (1748, but closer to a 1750) with a 1997 40HP Force. Got it from my buddy's family who gave me a great deal on it. The motor is ridiculously clean, you can't even tell its been run. The boat is in good shape, with one ding in the front from...
