    FRP for Boat Flooring

Just an update for those interested: My FRP flooring is still holding up great after a year of use. I'm really glad I used this instead of wood. :D

    FRP for Boat Flooring

No, it isn't made for outside use. But I keep my boat inside, totally enclosed so it doesn't see much weather except for my short trips to the lake.

    FRP for Boat Flooring

Just wanted to let everyone know that my FRP flooring material is still holding up very well. I have since installed brackets to hold it down. I'm liking it!

    removable deck?

Here's what I'm planning to do about a removable front deck. Please note that I did NOT come up with this idea myself: I'm wanting to use two sections of ladder to extend it farther back and fix hangers on each end of the ladder sections so as to be removable, like in the pics.

    Is my Endura 55 Repairable?

    Yes.

    Is my Endura 55 Repairable?

Thanks GTS65 for that info. I'll have to check into that!

    Is my Endura 55 Repairable?

Cool idea with the hose clamp and nut thing. Main thing there is to make sure the nut is very tight fitting so it won't turn inside of the plastic hole. But, I can't think of anything else that would work any better. Someone's already removed the knob and replaced it with a bigger bolt which...

    Is my Endura 55 Repairable?

Yeah, too bad my tensioner screw, on my "new to me" Endura 36, is stripped out where I can't tighten it at all. I guess, during transport, I could position my motor to where the shaft is vertical, similar to the same position as if it were in use except raised all the way up. It's either that...

    Is my Endura 55 Repairable?

I'm not seeing how that PVC pipe rig is keeping the prop in the "up" position. Is it just to keep the motor from bouncing while underway?

    Is my Endura 55 Repairable?

So, could it be harmful to my tr. motor to transport it in this manner?

    Is my Endura 55 Repairable?

    Shaft was vertical.

    Is my Endura 55 Repairable?

Thanks for the replies, guys. Thanks especially for talking to the Minn Kota people. I wonder if it possibly vibrated out from running on rough water and with the prop in the down position? I wonder if it would be okay to run my new-to-me Endura 36 in the same manner, with prop in the down...

    Is my Endura 55 Repairable?

HHmmmm......sounds like I might junk it or save it for parts if it's gonna cost more than it's worth to fix it.

    Is my Endura 55 Repairable?

I have a Minn Kota Endura 55 trolling motor that's in great condition except for one thing. While we were out in my Lowe 16' Big Jon last weekend bouncing around on Nolin Lake, I happened to notice that the prop on the trolling motor was separated from the motor housing and you could see the...

Help w/25 HP Merc. Lower Unit Removal

It's the screw that's on the coupler at the top of the shift shaft, I guess you might say it's beside the clip you're referring to. Thanks everyone for your replies.

Help w/25 HP Merc. Lower Unit Removal

Mine's pull start. So, I don't remove the ss screw at all?

Help w/25 HP Merc. Lower Unit Removal

I don't think that's the same engine model I have. I looked at the online manual and it says I have the "C" version lower unit and it's the pre '87, older model. Mine looks like it's a one piece shaft. So, it says I have to "remove the shift lever coupler located in the bottom cowling behind...
