Hello, my father has a neighbor that has a boat for sale its a model E alumacraft. We looked at the tag and its only rated for a 7hp motor.
Looking at my Alumacraft model F7 the only difference I see is that mine has a brace under the motor. (see attached pic)
My question is do you all think if we made a brace and installed it under the motor would it be possible to run a 15 horse motor that I have on it?
