14 foot waterbug questions and modifications

I recently got a hold of a 14 ft fiber glass semi v hull jon boat and an 06' mercury 6 horse. Right now it runs and fishes pretty good. id like to fish it for a year or two and then see what i can get for it. I will list the modifications id like to do below:
- strengthen transom
-add deck
-install a pedestal and seat on the deck
-install foot control trolling motor
-paint inside
