Ok guys/gals, I have been lurking for a while on here watching everyones progress and getting some great ideas. Time for me to give it a whirl. I bought this boat as-is, someone had cut a tunnel into the hull and really left it quite rough looking, but I figured for 200 bucks if it floats I did ok. I am not sure what it is on the back corners as far as either tabs or whether this person was going to eventually put pods on it. At any rate I would appreciate and encourage any and all ideas on this project.

Looks like it has some potential its an alumacraft after all ! the front deck is a nice sive and looks like you could have some live/bait wells in the rear there . Did It come with trailer?

I thought about getting a new crappie jon but ran into a really good deal on a used boat. It's a nice boat - and designed to be wide open in the middle. Once you clear out all the old stuff you're going to have a lot to work with. It's going to be a sweet boat. Be sure to take and post pics along the way.

Does it leak much?Doesn't really matter $200 bucks,it's fixable.
On that tunnel hull addition and them flaps that come out,I have a factory tunnel and theres smaller(don't stick out as far maybe 2"s)flaps on it,right from the factory.
Heres a picture, not the best angle but it's pouring right now and I'm made of sugar.

200 was with the trailer and a foot controlled tm. I fish lakes, ponds and rivers. I think I am going to try to build it back close to factory with just a few tweaks here and there such as livewells front and back and rod storage. As far as leaking goes...............few rivets leaking is all I have found. Trailer appears to be very stout and should cleanup very nice.
