the ones on the extension deck i found at a local fiberglass shop off a job he had done for a customer. the one on the side box i found online from a fising forum im a member of. you are so right too, those things are high priced for their simplicity. the back bench box was originally going to have hatches as well. the price of those things kept that from happening.

thanks for your comments and just keep looking online, you may find some at a good price. steve.

i forgot to mention price: the two on the deck, i got for 40 bucks. the one on the side box, 35.

that is nice what you did there to your boat =D> where did you buy the roll of flooring that looks like tread plate? Is that stuff light weight and how does it hold up to foot usage?

i bought the roll at academy sports and outdoors in the exercise equipment section. that is what is used under treadmills etc. the roll is 46 in. x 93 in. and costs only 20 bucks. it is high desity foam basically, yes very light. as to foot traffic etc. not sure yet. i have had the front of the boat foam on there for a while now, and it seems to be doing well. i went that route for comfort under feet. my legs arent what they used to be.
thanks for the comments!! steve

I to will look into that foam tread plate like what you have. That added cusion cannot hurt when standing onit for long peroids of time.I like the look of it and the price is rite =D>
