Picked this jem up a few weeks back...she needs a prop and the rear hood latch release..if anyone can help i would appreciate it...ill pay for parts n shipping...i got er bought for 125$..needs alil work but she runs...im sure i will have a boat load of questions when i tare into it in a few weeks...thanks yall

Check with Dan on parts for that motor. He is very easy to work with (I believe he is also a member of AOMCI).

Sorry its takin me so long to get back here...thank u for yur help..i will get with dan...i do plan a full write up on my project..just not sure when it will start :shock: ...prolly when the snow starts flyin..anyone know a paint code or color...thanks again

or you can get a Duplicolor at the auto parts store that is very close to original.

One of the biggest things to remember with that engine is that it is to be run on no less than a 24:1 mixture. Anything less and it will drastically shorten the service life of that engine.

Go to the webvertize section and put up an ad for the parts you need. Always add your physical location to the ad header.
Go to the ask a member section for questions and you may want to ask around there as well for parts.
There are quite a few of us in here that can help you as well.
Almost all service parts are still available for that engine. They are excellent runners and a lot of power.

Right on.....thanks...i just picked up a 1972 25hp as well...i need to stop buying n start fixing..bad news is my fixin money went to another project #-o
