Just thought I'd post my boat. I've been lurking for a while soaking up all the knowledge that I can, and I've now started putting in a deck. You guys have been more help than I could have ever asked for so thanks in advance.

Good looking setup, whats the story on the ol' Johnson? Any plans for it?

Its a 1956 Johnson seahorse 10hp. Guy I bought the boat from had it setting in his garage, he couldn't get it running so he sold it to me with boat and trailer all for $700. I got it home replaced the plugs, and lower unit oil, hooked it up to the pressure tank that came with it and it fired up but the seals on the tank wouldn't hold pressure so I converted it over to a fuel pump and it runs fine now.
