List of Modifications:
* add front mounted center console
lowe-cc1.gif

Would also like to;
*Seal all rivets
*weld up 2 cracks
*reinforce hull braces up the side of the boat to strengthen hull
*replace floor and front deck with aluminum not wood
*coat deck and floor with some type of nonskid surface
*replace crappy wiring and replace fuses with circuit breakers
*replace interior lights with LED
replace all foam with closed cell

I could really use imput from others. So if you have some thoughts or ideas please let me know.

I'm trying to source a center console. Found the one pictures for $199 from https://www.akmccallumco.com/

I'm thinking about aluminum diamond plate for the floor but not sure if its thick enough or if I will have to throw down some braces

Also, I read that guys are using closed cell pink foam. Is that still at Lowes?

Got any more pics? I got an 87 MV-16 mod that you can look at for ideas. I just want to see how you end up in the end and compare it to mine for some ideas.

Looks like we have almost the exact same boat, and pretty similar idea of where we're going with it. Just a fair warning, the rest of that rear deck is a pain to get into, but if it's like mine, it's full of heavy waterlogged foam. Start from the front of it and work your way back towards the transom. I just finished tearing mine down this afternoon, and I have a feeling it's going to sit about 6 inches higher in the water with all the heavy foam I took out.
