decided a walk through might be a better layout and also adding floors with foam underneath. relocating battery and fuel tanks to understand casting platform to compensate for our new 4 stroke 1 ton mercury

Well I took off the casting platform today and now have a compartment for the battery in the first bench that is covered by the platforms. got some 6 gauge battery cables I'm running under the floor.

I need to extend my gas like by about 3 feet so I can put my gas under the casting platform aswell, can I use any fuel line or is there something special about the Grey fuel line you always see on outboards, my merc dealer wants like 7 bucks a foot

That million dollar 1 ton merc sure looks at home on that boat though. Wish my motor was a tiller, opens up a lot of room in the boat as opposed to a side console.

2 years later still working on the boat and wanted to try posting some photos using Flikr since Photobucket wants $400 a year to host photos now. You are still able to view all of the old photos by clicking on the box.

Anyways, floors are awesome with the cut out bench but recently got the itch for a front mount trolling motor as it seems I am always adjusting the transom mount and have missed a few fish because of it.

I had to re-vamp my casting platform, the seat was to far forward once I added the cubby hole up front for the trolling motor.
