Hi Norman, I searched this site for sea ark deck boat or sea ark SUN STAR and couldn't find anything. I believe your project would be a first. Generally, the fiberglass liner provides stiffness to the aluminum hull so if it was removed, you would have to replace it with something. Can you see if there any ribs in the inside of the bottom? If you can post pics, that would help. I'm sure someone will chime in here and hopefully with more specific advise.
Welcome to Tin Boats Norman, where are you located?...Jerry :)

thanks jerry.im in north carolina.after looking at the boat ,i decided that for the money,i couldnt beat it for the space it gives me.im going to buy the boat and figure it out later.ill post some pics when i get it home.

Norman, You have a very unique boat there, aluminum hull with a fiberglass deck (hybrid). I'm sure it is lighter than it's
cousin, all fiberglass deck boats. The fiberglass deck would be easier to clean than a wood/carpet deck. plenty of room too.
My suggestion, clean it up and use it for a while. You may find it's good-to-go as is. Post up some pics and keep us up to
date on your boat. ...Jerry :)
