24v trolling motor batteries

I am curious on what brand/type batteries i will need for my 24v Great White Motorguide 67lb thrust TM. I am on a budget so I don't want to be spending a ridiculous amount on batteries. I was wondering if there was a happy medium between price/quality? Does anyone have any suggestions?

in short the answer is no
you get what you pay for plain and simple
to get the higher reserve minutes you are going to pay for them

you may be able to find blemish batteries at a reduced price
remember the basics both batteries need to be the same size 27 group will do fine
and the same age placing an old battery with a new one will shorten the life of the new battery

this doesn't mean that walmart batteries suck they are fine but even at $70 a piece they are not cheap.
