70el tilt

I have a 70 hp johnson 70el79r and it is impossible to tilt from inside boat. Would like to put in tilt assist or hydraulics. Any one got old outboards laying around?

Source a complete tilt and trim system from a donor engine from around your model year all the way through the 80s. Your transom brackets will take a trim system from almost any horsepower from 70 on up. Easy to install but make sure you get the junction box and wiring up to the side mount or flush mount control.
