Hi All,

Just bought my 1st boat and decided to rewire everything as I had to replace both batteries. Ive purchased a BEP Battery Selector switch - https://www.basspro.com/BEP-Marine-Battery-Switches/product/97350/ and an ATC Fuse Block - https://www.basspro.com/BEP-Marine-Contour-6Way-ATC-Fuse-Holder/product/97360/ that I wanted to use to organize everything better and properly. Here's what I have to to get wired back up. Im using Two marine batteries. one deep cycle and the other a starting. I have an 89 Johnson 48Hp outboard with only the + & - lead coming into the boat. I have a 12v 50lb thrust minn kota Trolling motor and a MAXI 26 Dual battery Onboard charger. Whats the best way to go about wiring all this up with the two above items I purchased from Bass Pro Shops?? Thanks in advance for any insight a pro can give and newbie!! Great site and information by the way.. Greatly appreciated!!!

Below is the diagram I wanna follow as in Illinois, most places I go and fish are trolling motor only spots. This wiring scheme will allow me to have two batteries for the day to use on those days I can only use an electric motor. Vice versa on the days im on the river. Only thing im confused about is where to tie in the positive lead and negative lead coming from the 12v trolling motor!?!? Also would I be okay wiring my dual bank charger straight to both batteries?? If someone could please share their input, Id love to get this thing wired back up and out on the water today!!!
