Well back in Sept 2010 i picked up this StarCraft boat, trailer and 40 hp for 350.00, trailered it home cleaned up the motor and changed the lines plugs wires and gas it had been sitting for about 3yrs. The motor started on around the third try i believe. I was starting to get the boat and everything ready for the build but my dad passed away in Oct. He had been staying with me for a while because he was not taking care of himself and didn’t tell anyone that he was getting sick. Well everything started getting back to normal a couple of months ago and I was able to get started on the boat again.

1969 StarCraft Mariner V
14' Long
65" Wide at the top
53" Wide at bottom

1971 Evinrude 40HP (Runs but doing a restore before using)
1975 Mercury 7.5HP (Will be using till restore is complete)

So far I think I have around 1,500 into the build, I’ve been taking pictures as I would complete things. Ill post some of the pics now and after get everything in order Ill update with the complete build so everyone can see how it all progressed.

I didn't like the original paint that I bought it was a little to light, so I mixed 8oz of gloss black into the saftey blue to get it a little darker.

As a '67 14' Mariner V owner, didn't recognize it as such, until I saw 3.jpg picture. Quite a transformation.
