Anchors

i saw a good one this weekend on our camp/fishing trip.a guy was using a brake rotor as an anchor.

I've noticed that some have mentioned using different styles of anchors at bow and stern. Why a Danforth at fore and a mushroom aft?

Also, given relatively calm lake water, how much weight for a 14' jon boat?

Because those are the anchors I have that I got cheap at a flea market, haha. Danforth bites better, the mushroom just keeps my ass end from spinning around in circles.

Typically a pound per foot of length of your boat, for an anchor.
