I hit the lake as soon as my girl left my driveway. It had rained off and on all day and started getting pretty cool in the evening, so I was not expecting much. On my third or fourth cast I hooked and landed a decent fish. The wind was blowing the opposite direction as normal which made feeling bites very hard. I only had small and big bullet weights so, I decided to switch to a big one. I must have missed atleast 10 fish with the small weight.
Soon after I hooked into the biggest fish of the night, somewhere around 3lbs. I continued missing fish due to a messed up reel handle, but managed to land another fish around 2lbs. I switched to my baitcaster and hooked into a really nice fish, only to lose it in the weeds
