Hello All,
New here but I wanted to share my recent boat conversion - this site gave me a ton of great ideas and insight so thanks!
2x2 & 2x3 frame
15/32" ply
Front seat is just a stand in until my new pro seat gets here (fed ex says tomorrow
Gloss Black Tractor & Implement Paint - came out sharp!
I don't recall whose recommendation it was, but I used contact cement in lieu of carpet adhesive - glad I did, came out great and it saved me a bunch of downtime
Trailer is getting revamped as well, just replaced the carpet for now
Carpeting complete, but no hardware yet
Hardware and seat mounts installed - Hatch pulls are tie down anchors from lowes. They are pretty heavy duty and cost me $4.50 for 4 of them
Carpeted the inside of the hull - wiring is in a recess behind this carpet
Home made livewell - had to make it removable since I sometimes use it outside of the boat
Hatch opposite of the livewell - they share the same three hinges
Forward storage compartment - I'm going to be making this one lockable
Hide-away rod tiedowns - straps are attached inside of the hatches. You can also see the yardstick I 'integrated' and my cheapy depth finder (lowrance X-4). I don't know how I fished without it.
One for the road
