I'm not familiar with your motor/prop set-up and haven't seen prop slip mentioned. That certainly could be an issue causing the reduced speed.

Between the holidays and work I haven't had a chance to look at the boat. i did order a tach and will check things out but won't have a chance for a couple of weeks. And after reading some of the later posts since i was last here, the motor may be doing all it can. Thanks!!
