I am debating on what I should put in my boat for batteries 3 or 4.
2 for my 24v trolling motor. Then share one for starting, live well, and electronics or starting battery and separate battery for live well/electronics?
I already own the 4 batteries would not take much to set it up that way. There is room for them all in back in same compartment do not think it will affect my plane. I have 90hp on 17' boat.
I have a 3 bank charger, if I used 4, I would hook up trolling and livewell/electronics batteries to it. Let motor charge starting battery. I do have a flood light I use when night fishing, however about only time I use it is when moving from one spot to another. I am leaning more towards the 4 at this point.
What's you thoughts?

Id go 3. It is very unlikly you will kill your electronics battery. I left stuff on,and fishfinder for a week straight and it wasnt even below 70%. Even if you did kill it, you could use one of the others to start it.

Well I got my onboard charger and the 4 batteries installed. I figured having stereo, flood light, interior lights, live well, bait aerator, and boat electronics, best be on safe side. Also I own the batteries already and doubt I would get much for a 2 yr. old deep cycle battery.

3 is plenty. I use three for a 36v trolling motor, accessories, and starting a 45 horse outboard without an alternator. I have not had an issue.
