Best way to find a leak ?

I have a small leak in my boat think it's just the plug , but it made me wonder what would be the best way to find a leak in any Jon boat ?

X3 and use a crayon to mark the leaks

Make sure its level so you can test all the rivets. Be careful not to fill it too much and compromise the trailer or the hull. The trailer isnt normally designed to hold the boat and a ton of extra weight. JMO.
