I’ve started converting an AlumaCraft F7 boat to use on a small lake nearby. I finished the casting deck this weekend. Next I’ll install a couple of fish finders, one up at the bow and one in the back that I can see while using the motor. I’m thinking I’ll put it on the bench beside my seat. I’m moving a Minn Kota trolling motor from our pontoon boat to this one. I want to find a quality boat cover soon since I’ll need to vacate the carport that I’ve been using. I looked on the Carver boat cover website but they don’t show a listing for a F7 model. Do any of you know if the F7 had another model number?

If you plan on the cover going over the trolling motor, your gonna need a custom made cover. If you plan on towing with the cover on you need a custom made cover. General purpose covers are not made to a precise fit, covers need to be taught and supported to keep water and snow out and over the counter covers do not do that well.. Yes, they can be modified, but unless you can do it yourself, might as well get a custom cover made for the extra cost.
