I've got a 1652mv lund with the double hull -full floor and walls- and was wondering if anyone has a lowe or tracker close to this with a 50 hp on it and if so what does it run? And does a 5" set back jack plate or after market CMC tilt/trim add to top end performance. Thanks

Yes, you should see a little better performance, not a huge gain. It puts the motor in a little cleaner water and allows you to run the motor higher thus creating less drag. It will help in shallow water. I've read that you can raise your motor a 1/4" above the bottom of the boat for every inch of set back. I just put a jackplate/ 5 1/2" set back on my boat and I'm still fine tuning. I didn't mount the motor high enough above the bottom of the boat and it's creating excessive drag.

Welcome to Tinboats.

its got a old 25hp evin. on it now and i have it set up an inch low,and have had it up to 28.6mph. it will cruise all day at 26.5, and im hoping to pull low 40's with a 50hp. anyone think thats possible?

Thats a great speed for a ol 25 on that hull.
I have a 30hp tiller on my C1652V,probably similar to yours and avg. around 28mph.
I had a 40hp on it before but never had a gps at the time but it seemed alot faster.
I couldn't find your boat online...a Seaark would come up and it said it had a .125 hull, anyways you may get what your looking for.I'm guessing 38-40mph.Do you use a console or tiller,we like pictures here:)
and Welcome to the site.

I have looked everywhere for info on this boat. Was told it was only made in '03 and by Lowe for Lund. It was a tiller boat but i bought a console cause that was the motor i had. I cant get the pics to come up. Boat rides nice, heavy as hell.
