Capacity Plates

Heyo! I've got an '83 Monark jonboat, in which im in the process of modding, however, I never really paid attention to the capacity tag on my boat. It appears someone has painted over it, and it's just a vinyl sticker, not the stamped aluminum. I contacted Monark, which is now SeaArk, and they were of no help to me. I understand boats under 20' are required to have the capacity tag onboard or else you could get huge fines. I've no idea what to do now, can anyone be of assistance?

Contact your states fish and boat commission. Here in PA, you could get a new one issued by them. If they don't do that in your state, they should have the info. on how and where to get a replacement.
