these forums are owned by companies that usually own hundreds of forums and the reason they are what the are. i completely agree with the people bailing and this thread shows why i WILL NOT GIVE ANY FORUM A DIME !!! if they die, oh well, BYE.

I have been a part of forums that allow politics, and have little moderation. They all turn into an echo chamber. There is no debate. The loud majority always wins, birds of a feather and all that. If you have differing views, sucks to be you.

Whether or not the thread was pot stirring, and deleting it was preemptive, likely only the OP knows. I certainly couldn't see it going anywhere productive, or remaining rule-abiding. Calling it censorship certainly seems to be a stretch.

I couldn't agree more; this site was established for tin boats and nowhere did it say open to anything else or so I thought, we were here to assist. help and promote tin boats and nothing else from what I read in the rules; other forums allow distraction from the rules / guidelines and all heck breaks loose in some cases. Let's just keep theTIN BOATS site to that TIN BOATS! off my soap box. lol
