I'm going to test it this weekend and take it back to get the floor tacked back in.
 
I have some Magnum Steel on the bottom of the boat I just bought...after reading this, me thinks a trip to the welder is in order...

Thanks for the updates...welds look great.
 
I am pleased so far. He was able to "pull" the gap together as he welded.
There is a lot of rod there. One spot had a gash almost an inch deep before.

Can't wait to float it! Of course it's cold and rainy here today.
 
IT FLOATS!

I took her out for a test float Saturday. Repair did great. Motor ran and drove great.
Not enough room to plan out but seems to have decent power.
It was a little tricky backing up cause the motor wouldn't lock down but that is fixed now.
