Great Pictures! =D> =D> Im not big on that post processing hullabaloo, kinda seams like cheating to me.

I've made that same comment in another topic here last week. Color correct (not hue/saturation), crop, rotation, and maybe a little "level adjustments" are about all I think are fair when everyone is included. Reason: These are about the only adjustments anyone could make if they were printing from a negative, and it keeps the field level....especially for those that don't have editing software or the skills to use it. Guess I'm just "old school"....which is odd because I've been a Photoshop Professional for the past 15 years and couldn't live without it.

Back to the other part of your comment....."Great Pictures"....Yes..Caveman..Like your shots....and not because we have similar taste in subject manner.

Speaking of Photoshop, I was in Staples last night buying a new pack of photo paper and a printer cartridge, and priced Photoshop for the heck of it. It's a bit out of my wallet range. The "complete" Adobe Photoshop series was also on the shelf.....................for close to $700! . I use Gimp, as it was free, and I normally only use the minor settings you mention above, such as cropping, rotation, perspective, brightness/contrast, levels, curves, desaturate, just a touch of saturation on occasion, and unsharpen mask. There are still features within Gimp that I'll probably never use. One thing I have learned is to work on a copy of a shot, and not the original. One thing about digital. is that if you don't like a shot, just delete it, as you're not worried about the cost of wasting film.
