COWL REPAIR

Hey everyone,

Simple question ... the seal for my cowl literally melted off from sitting out in the sun. I’ve tried several different solutions to “glue” it back on.

What does everyone use to fix this ? Is there a type of adhesive I should use, specially because it gets really hot ?

Doesn’t help it’s black. Thanks

How about a picture? Is the the motor cowling? What glue have you already tried?

If you put it on with this as long as you have the surface clean and follow instructions when it comes off it will be in little pieces.

3M makes a weatherstrip adhesive that I have found to be very good at gluing rubber door seals to door frames. It also works well in other types of applications.
