Most fears come from lack of knowing. Most can be overcome....most.

The wife to be has only passed gas once in my presence in the last 7 years, that one time was when I got her to hold a small ball python.

I like snakes also. I used to play with them all the time when I was little. I did get bit by a copperhead one time when I was 15. Actually it was more of a scratch. My father was holding his head down with a stick and I reached down to pick him up. He wiggled free and struck at me. I snatched my hand back but he managed to catch me on the tip of my middle finger. He didn't manage to get his fang penetrated into my finger to inject any venom. All it did was leave a scratch about a half inch long. My father told me that would teach me not to trust anyone. When we arrived back home we called the doctor and he told us to keep an eye on it. He told us that copperheads do not usually inject much venom or inject a lot of venom unless you keep harassing them.
