Let me start by saying this is a great site and I appreciate all of the information you guys post here.
I got this boat from my brother in law; he had used it for duck hunting for years on Saginaw Bay before the hull split along the seam where the bow and floor meet, it sat in his yard for a few years until he decided to give it to me.
I took the boat to a friend who welded the split (sorry no before or after pics) and used it as it was for a few years, all the while talking about wanting to modify it…..well this spring I stopped talking and started doing and this is where I’m at with it.
I still have a few things to do before it’s done (Paint the exterior, hatches, seats, wiring and switches, nav lights, bilge pump, etc.) but I wanted to float it before I went too far just to make sure I hadn’t inadvertently made a submarine.

LOOKS NICE! I HOPE YOU SEALED ALL THE WOOD BEFORE CARPET AND AFTER DRILLING HOLES FOR FASTENERS! THE PLYWOOD SHOULD BE SHINING LIKE GLASS WHEN PROPERLY SEALED AFTER MANY COATS ESPECIALLY THE EDGES.

Yeah, the transom got 3 coats of spar urethane and the stainless bolts were put in with 5200, the decks were coated with Thompsons before carpeting.
