Alrighty so i have been fishing out of my dads jon boat since he would let me (and sometimes when he had his back turned  what can i say i was 3 and there was a boat!) Anyways he bought it in 1976 for like 35 bucks haha. My grandad got a 3.9 mercury for it at some point and i have two rediculously old trolling motors that both work and both solid metal. I have been cleaning the paint off just planning too repaint it and fix the motor. I had grown up using paddles because my dad was too busy too mess with the engine and i didnt even know we had it till a year ago. (it was at my graddads 3 hrs away in ft worth.) All of this happened up until i found this site and became amazed with the wide variety of mods and customizations available. This was about two weeks ago. I happen too be in college about 3 hrs from home so I have been dying too get back and figure out all of the specs of my boat. I plan on heading back tomorrow morning so i will be able too provide the specs then. I already know what my plans for the boat are so i began too draw up a concept. I took alot of ideas from different people and different boat designs and am just modifing too fit my style and boat. I hope you guys enjoy my build and I cant wait too hear your input! Thanks!!!
As i said i already kind of started sanding and i plan on replacing transom which has rotted. All aluminum structure, a front trolling motor, a fishfinder and some other things will be added. Basically it will be a new boat. Oh ya I need too find a trailer as well. anyways,
The last picture is of the concept from the top and the second picture is with the Shingle Creek Toho-Rig live well and the first picture is just an explaination.
