Russ, What size are the posts on those battery terminals(1/4, 3/8?), for attaching the accessories? Just curious what size ring terminals I should be getting.

Also, what size heat shrink wrap do I need for 6ga battery cables? I'm going to have that place put the battery terminals on for me.

For connecting my trolling motor, the positive cable from the motor and from the battery will be connected directly through the breaker, correct? So, no need for ends on that side of the cables. Then, on the negative side, I can connect the two cables with that single post busbar using 3/8 lugs, correct?

Most batteries are 3/8" - and most ring terminals you can find in this size are for 12ga wire... but it will work with any size wire, just strip extra wire, bend it back over itself, then crimp it good

If you are getting them to make the wires, then get them to heat shrink it for you too. you can call them and talk to them... it's easier than trying to figure out everything you need when putting stuff in your shopping basket online

And you are right on the wiring for the trolling motor... but, I don't know what type of circuit breaker you are getting. It might have ring terminals on it as well, but I don't know the size of them. I would call the manufacturer of the circuit breaker to find that out, then let the guys who are making your cable put them on there as well. Remember the circuit breaker needs to be closer to your battery than your trolling motor - so remember that when you are having your cables made.

Do you ever have a hard time calling this place? Their 800 # is always busy. I'd love to talk to them, so I could make sure I know what I need to be ordering.

I never called them man... I knew what I needed and made it all work online.

Keep trying, you might try to send them an email as well
