Did some work on my motor over the last week and wanted to take it out for a spin (still not quite right). So I just put the trolling motor down and went around dipping some jigs.

Ended up catching 10 crappie and a drum. I practiced CPR yesterday so here are a few pics. Tried a few different jigs/minnow jigs and the only one that caught fish was the 2" storm minnows.

Here is a pic of my ugly mug and the big one for the day (it was about 12").

And here is my dink for the day!

Almost makes me want to move to Il, on second thought I'll just stay over here on my side of the river. Nice catch........

Gramps...My fiancé (soon to be wife) will most likely be moving over to your side of the river this fall. I just took a job in University City and she works in st Charles. If she does not get a teaching job closer to home we will be looking for a place in the Hazelwood area.

Hazelwood is way up North from where I am. I'm southwest of STL between I44 & I55. Hope everything works for you.
