What all is involved in adding power tilt and trim to a standard tiller motor ? I bet its not cheap. :lol:

Not sure yet. I have my rig for sale or trade on craigslist and every trade offer so far hasnt had power trim. Im sure it will not be higher than a 50 hp and no lower than a 9.9 though. A smaller motor wouldn't be bad to lift but I cant lift a heavier one. So i guess im asking what would it cost ballpark ?nomowork said:

I can handle the manual tilt (trim is semi permanently set with a pin) easily enough on my 15hp four stroke while in the water.
I have the CMC hydraulic power lift and trim on my glass boat with a 40hp Mercury. The Mercury already has a hydraulic lift "assist" but it's much easier to just push the toggle switch. I've seen the CMC units on line around $400 and up. Then there's the electrical connections, etc.
