Install charging system

Hi I have 2002 Mercury 2 stroke non electric start 25 Hp motor and want charging system can you tell me what all is involved and where to get parts required. Canadian living in central Ontario ............... Thanks in advance

I would expect it to need a stator and a cdi regulator/rectifier.

How much running of the motor do you really do to charge a battery? How is the charging rate of a 25 hp? Is it worth the cost?

P/N 42282A-4, lighting coil kit
P/N 62351A10, charging rectifier kit
These are Mercury factory numbers.
