Is a 1998 Yamaha 150 VMAX EFI or Carb'd?

Hey,

My brother and I are looking a sweet garage kept boat with a 1998 Yamaha VMAX 150. Trying to find out if this is EFI or a Carb'd motor.

Can't find an answer online.....

Any ideas?

Get a photo of the ID plate and look it up the parts diagram. Or go check in person. Some manufactures were switching over to EFI around that time.

Normally I would do that but the current owner is out of pocket for a couple days.

I do know they made them with carbs for that year model. Just not sure if its across the board for the model or if they gave the EFI's a unique designation.
