It's been a while since I have posted any pics. I was at a point that I couldn't move forward until the **** console came in. Well, it showed up 2 months afte mi paid for it up front. A little advice, don't ever do business with Seaark boats. I had to contact the owner directly just to get any thing done. Come to find out they didn't even start on the boat until last Friday, 7 weeks after I paid in full up front. That being said I also had some other goodies come on in:

Prosport 2 bank, 10 amp onboard charger
Minn Kota 55lb, 12vt, V2 Trolling motor
Minn Kota wireless remote Pilot System (Every boat owner should have one BTW!!)
Tempest Hatch Door
Center Consle W/built-in live/bait/cooler-well

Did you use blind rivets to connect all your aluminum framing? Can you show a detail of how you connected your framing at the bottom and sides? Awesome build and giving me lots of ideas!

Typical stuff from lowes, minus the 1/8" aluminum plate and 1 1/2"
Lowe's is way overpriced when it comes to any metal fab stuff. Just go to your local metal supply or fabricator at about half the cost.

I had to custom fab a mount for the rocker panel, dual USB and AUX charging outlet. As expected the Seaark factory was
poorly done, installed and just cheap looking. Much better now I think!

How often do you use it? I think I may need one for my build, but not sure I will have use for it afterwards. It is nice to be able to bend the sheets while the boat is right there, and making needed adjustments.

I use it all the time, it's nice to be able to fab just about any bracket or mount.

The specs on that brake say for use on up to 12ga metal - for aluminum that's .0808"...not even close to the .10" or .125" that most decking is made from - have you used it on these materials?

I'm liking the transom repair you did, might copy yours. How does the boat handle with the center seat taken out, been throwing that idea around, just worried about flex.

I have to taken it out yet. That being said, I put 1/8" across 6 of the ribs from front to back, side to side, tapped 1/4" and secured with 24 Stainless steel hex machine thread screws. I would bet it's safe to say that it is more structurally sound then it was before. Plus I extended the front deck 2 feet towards the transom with 2 additional cross members. If you don't want to do what I did you can always contact the manufacturer and order an additional rib. I would have done that but my manufacturer is no longer aroud.

Front deck almost complete. Just need to paint the vertical plate and install the onboard plug mount for the decking to be complete!! Then on to finish the wiring.

Awesome work! :shock: I am working on a similar project. Did you use any special primer for the aluminum? What paint did you use on the hull inside and out? I like the idea of the deck paint for the flooring and front deck.

Lowe's had a sale on aluminum special primer, the paint was from Amazon.com, Duralux is the name.

Getting closer to being done. Took it out for the first time and she floats and drives like a dream. Runs at about 25 mph. I also finally gave her a name!!!
