When getting my parents' house ready for the estate sale I found our Jarts set. The set is all there in the box except for one target.
For those that don't know Jarts were banned in 1988 and are illegal to sell new or used. People have gotten creative in selling them they sell the box and extra fins for $150 to $200.
Then they throw in the banned parts as free gifts.
I can't wait to try them out.

Many memories of playing Jarts at my grandparents camp, when I was a teen. Never knew they bring those $ now.

I had no idea how much they are worth either. There are a lot of youtube videos on how to make your own or to modify the new version of them.

Don't you mean THROW them out?

I guess they were slightly more dangerous than horseshoes. ;) But now we have cornhole. And we are all safe now! :D
Horseshoes. I was injured when I very young by a horseshoe. My cousin threw the horseshoe, and it started rolling in a curved arc toward me. I tried to dance around it, but it hit my shin. It chipped the bone in my leg. I still have an indention in my bone where it hit me.
