Here are some updated pictures of the boat. After a couple times of rolling on the paint you get the hang of it. The bottom pic is of coat 2. And the top pic is coat 3. It takes a couple coat to get it completely covered.
Finished paint job. Ended with 7 coats. I did not follow the guide. I did not sand between coats at all. It turned out well enough for my fishing boat!
