The wind made us leave the big lake to a better protected canyon area. Water temp 52.5 deg's. Caught the bigger one trolling 20' deep, which was kind of a surprise. The others were caught on a rapala minnow trolled on a flat line. No action along the shores. Everything in deep water.
Wind kept increasing which made us leave because we had about a 3.5 mile run across the open lake back to the protected cove where the ramp is. Had a fun ride through the rollers. I am impressed with the big bass boat guys that just blast across the tops of the waves.
